I have been going thru this drill with Bushnell for close to a yr.
two yrs. ago, I had my 4200 elite 6 x 24 changed to mil-dots. really like it.
then about 12 months ago, I called & inquired about my elite 8 X 32 to have mil-dots in it. they said the service was not available at the time. I told them your website shows you offer it. there reply, website needs updated, & about 2 weeks later it showed not available.
they told me they could not get the reticlues for the 4200, that's why they couldn't do it.
seems like only a few companies make the reticules ( they said they don't) & since they couldn't get any, they cancelled the service. check back later.
every three months, last time , three weeks ago, I called. they told me they were not offering the service. I pointed out, they had changed their websitte to now showing the service was available. since I check it often, they had done it with in the previous week.
I was told, some one made a mistake, on changing the website, & the service for the 4200 was not available.
I have been thinking about just sending my scope in with the $55.00, telling them to change it, as shown on their web site. of course they would probably send it back, but maybe the people in Bushnell can decide, they do or don't.
