.17 HMR ballistics?
« on: 10:53 PM, 11/05/09 »
I went to the range on Wednesday and decided to shoot me .17HMR at 200 yards.  I had it zeroed at 100.  I had to add 12 clicks of elevation to get on target.  Each click is .25" at 100, so that would mean 6" of elevation at 200 yards?  Please correct me if my math is wrong here:

.25" clicks at 100 = .5" clicks at 200.  12 clicks at 200 = 6"

I'm afraid I have something wrong with my Bushnell 4200.  What do you all think?

I plan on running a test on the adjustments next time out.  I'm going to use the mil dots to estimate distances between two points on a target and adjust the scope accordingly and see what happens.
